It is really very meaningful to my children. They find it more important than the Easter Day. I think, because there is a liturgy in the Seder that isn't present in the evangelical
design of Easter. In the evangelical persuasion there is a great deal of mentioning of the Last Supper, Good Friday and EAster Sunday but little participation of it. There is no lent..no denying of oneself for a time period..nothing of that nature.
In the Anglo-Catholic tradition, we have lent.If participated in with acutal committment, lent can be very engaging with God. There are also the Stations of the Cross which provide beautiful liturgy and teaching. We need an Easter Sunday tradition that has some type of liturgy that involves all. We need to be more involved. We don't need to sit and listen to yet another lecture from a gifted learned person.
